If you smell gas:
1. Shut off gas to the appliance.
2. Extinguish any open flame.
3. If odor continues, keep away from the appliance
and immediately call your gas supplier or fire
department.
Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable
vapors and liquids in the vicinity of this or any other
appliance. An LP-cylinder not connected for use shall
not be stored in the vicinity of this or any other
appliance.
Improper installation, adjustment, alteration, service
or maintenance can cause property damage, injury or
death. Read the installation, operation and
maintenance instructions thoroughly before installing

  • Page 6 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS Step one may be easiest if done on a table. 1-1. Unscrew the switch button, load small battery, tighten the switch button. 1-2. Install the gas hose (M) to the gas connector on the control box (J), Tighten it. These are FLARE fittings and are designed to AA Battery (1.5 V) make a sealed connection when firmly tightened.

    ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 3.Use Phillips screwdriver (LL) to fasten the Control Box Assembly (J) and the Bottom Plate (O) with M5 x 12 mm screws (DD). Hardware Used M5 x 12 mm Screw Phillips Screwdriver PLEASE NOTE: The bottom plate must have the slots facing the same way as the CONTROL KNOB.
  • Page 8 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 5.Using wrench (KK) to assemble the Wheel Assembly (N) to the Bottom Plate (O) with M6 x 12 mm bolts (EE). Hardware Used M6 x 12 mm Bolt Wrench 6. Use Phillips screwdriver (LL) to secure the Block Belt (L) to the Lower Supports (K) with M5 x 12 mm screws (DD).

  • Page 10 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 9. Assemble the Protective Guard and Emitter Grid by inserting the hooks of Protective Guard (F) to the holes of Upper Supports (E). Put the Emitter Grid (B) on the Top Plate (D). Make sure the screw holes align the holes of Top Plate (D).
  • Page 11 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 11.Install the Knob (GG) to the Front Control Access Panel (P) using the M4x10 screw (HH), Φ4 Small Flat Washer (MM) and Φ4 Spring Washer (NN) Hang the Chain (II) to the hole on the Control Box Assembly (J) and insert the pothook of front panel to the holes of bottom plate.
  • Page 12 NOTE, we have provided three tabs at the base of the fire feature where it can be secured to a patio. If installed in a windy area or where it may be bumped or tipped (fasteners are not included) we strongly recommend Ambiance securing to patio.
  • Page 13 Never connect an unregulated propane cylinder to the heater. Use only Ambiance approved replacement parts. These can be ordered through your dealer or directly from AEI Corporation (949) 474-3070 M-F 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. PST. The knob on the LP tank must be closed. Make sure that the knob is turned clockwise to a full stop.

  • Page 15 NOTE Before Lighting: 1. Ambiance Fire Feature should be thoroughly inspected before each use, and by a qualified service person at least annually. Always wait at least 5 minutes before attempting to relight a hot Ambiance Fire Feature.
