Assembly Guide : 76mm Cassegrain Telescope INTRODUCTION Congratulations! You have bought a wonderful telescope. This is a precision optical instrument, and you have many wonderful evenings of observing the night sky ahead of you. This guide is to help you assemble your telescope properly.

Step 1 Remove the tripod from the box, and extend the legs as shown in Figure 1 below. Figure 1 – Extending the tripod legs. Unscrew the handle to loosen the Step 2 up-down motion of the tripod. Set the tripod level and screw the handle in to tighten as show in Figure 2.

If no light is viewable through the Step 4 eyepiece, you may need to align the inner mirror. Simply twist the lens pictured in Figure 4 one full rotation, while viewing through the eyepiece. Stop once you see light. Figure 4 – Adjusting the lens and mirror To change eyepieces, simply Step 5 unscrew the current one to remove it.
