The extra lightweight HiPress 2 is explicitly designed for use by security forces. The extra high and constant working pressure offers excellent fire rating and increased safety and capabilities for fire fighters during action.
HiPRESS 2 Symbols and meaning Important information is highlighted with the following icons. Please note it with particular attention in the interest of safety. Indication of possible danger. Disregard can result in damage or hazard to device, vicinity, operator or other persons.
As suitable extinguishing agents we recommend: most common foam agent against fires of class A + B. AFFF 6% optimized for HNE-high pressure technology to achieve superior extinction ratings. For fire class A + B. 63 A MG 6-30 Ready-for-use agent with -30°...

HiPRESS 2 VARIO 9 Venting and opening: Always relief the system from any residual pressure before opening. Actuate the jet gun until no more hissing is heard. Only then you may unscrew the pressure vessel. Even after complete discharge of the extinguisher, new pressure may occur due rising temperature.
HiPRESS 2 Filling of the liquids: Be sure that the container is completely empty and clean before filling. The container requires 1.5 liters of total filling volume. For user training, you can use pure water. The amount of additive for foam generation depends on the used extinguishing agent.
(see page 5). A full compressed air cylinder (2 liters) is sufficient for app. 60 fillings of a HiPRESS 2 Pressurized vessels are hazardous for user and vicinity in case of negligence or mishandling. Always use filled air cylinders and extinguishers with due diligence.

HiPRESS 2 Connecting the filling adapter : Remove the protective caps on pressure reducer and cylinder valve. Attach the pressure reducer to the thread of the cylinder valve and screw it tightly with the knurled hand-wheel. Tightening by hand is sufficient;...

HiPRESS 2 Charging the working pressure : Be sure, the stop cock of the low-pressure outlet is in closed position (transversely to the hose). Open the valve of the compressed air cylinder slowly and completely. The outlet of the filling adapter is now leading charging pressure (18 bar) for the extinguisher.
HiPRESS 2 The jet gun Every HiPRESS system is equipped with a recoilless jet gun. Range and flow rate are variable by stepless actuation. This increases efficiency and duration significantly when fighting small fires. A foldable safety catch prevents accidental actuation.
HiPRESS 2 Applying the device The HiPRESS 2 is a stored-pressure extinguisher. You just have to turn the safety catch at the tripping lever into unlocked position. The jet of foam is triggered by pressing the lever. Jet range and throughput are adjustable to the situation by steplessly actuation.
NOTE: As a highly safety-relevant element, the pressure reducer (filling adapter) is absolutely maintenance-free. Any work at it is solely reserved for HNE. Unauthorized action leads to the complete loss of warranty. After maintenance or repair, the extinguisher should be labeled with filling date and content.
