The "10" error occurs if the drive or controller cannot find the
program-selected tracklsector combination.
Typing "R" causes

error recurs, try pressing R again.

after several retries, refer to Section VI.

The "08" error occurs if CRC (Section 3.6.7) does not check on a data
field.
Recovery from status 08 messages mayor n,ay not be possible.
With an
Word Processing Program in operation, try the Save procedure, then
retry the file.
If the error recurs, go to the backup file.
If a backup file is not available, typing "R" causes
TIDOS
to Retry
the operation four times.
If the error recurs, try pressing Ragain.
If the error does not go away after several retries, press RETURN.
TIDOS
now ignores the error; however several er.rors in the same
sector may cause the BDOS ERROR ON BAD SECTOR message to appear.
