installing the batteries

Two AAA alkaline batteries are needed to operate the remote control. These batteries are already installed with a
protective film to prevent the batteries from discharging too quickly. On the back of the remote control, remove the
protective film protruding from the battery compartment to activate the remote control.

programming the remote control

The remote control will automatically operate in IR (infrared), which means that the remote control must be aimed directly
at the box up to a distance of 5 metres. The remote control can also operate in RF (radio frequency). This means that it
does not need to be aimed directly at the box.
Refer to the operating instructions of the .évasion box to pair your remote control with the television set, allowing you to
use a single remote to control your television set and your box.
