Your hard drive does not allow you to record films on demand. Your hard drive is limited to your personal .évasion box. You can purchase additional 500GB hard drives in your VOO shop. If inserting a new hard drive, never eject/insert a hard drive if the box is not switched off at the mains (power cut off).

1.4 Remote control Pairing your remote control with the television set Pairing your remote control with your television set allows you to use a single remote to control your television and your .évasion box. If your television set is a Samsung, your remote control is automatically paired with your television.

To pair your remote control to your television set: Switch on the television. Press and hold down simultaneously for 3 seconds the button ‘be tv’ and the red button on your .évasion remote control. The red LED of the remote control flashes 3 times and then stays on.
chapter 2 Interface Overview 2.1 How to navigate using the remote control Central keypad Your remote control has a central keypad allowing you to navigate in all the interfaces of your box. This keypad is in the centre of the remote control and allows you to navigate up, down, left and right.
2.2. Main menu To access the main menu of your box, press the ‘home’ button on your remote control. The main menu of your box comes in two distinct parts: 1. Top: a selection of shortcuts to the most frequently used services 2.

Your box also gives you access, at home, to the VOO catalogue and a selection of programmes recently broadcast by television channels, as a ‘home library’. At any time, select and watch a film, a series, or a documentary...
2.3 How to navigate in the interface Mini guide By pressing the ‘info’ button on your remote control, you will display information related to the channel on which you are. The menus are: replay Suggestions of programmes to watch again on the current channel. Information on the current programme: programme name, start time, end time and programme progress bar.
You will find different types of features depending on the programme you are watching or about which you want more information or to perform an action. All of the available actions: info Provides more information on the current programme. settings Makes it possible to select the audio language and subtitle language if multiple languages are available.
chapter 3 TV features 3.1 Channel hopping The box provides several options to hop from one channel to another according to your needs. Normal channel hopping The ‘normal channel hopping’ mode allows you to switch to the next channel or to the previous channel. Press the top arrow to go back through your channel list and on the down arrow to go down through your channel list.
3.2 Timeshift Your box allows you at any time to control the viewing of the programme you are watching. Pause This is possible for live programmes, on-demand programmes, recordings and personal content. The duration of the pause will be displayed on the screen. Press the ‘Play/Pause’...

Speed To do so, simply press the ‘fast forward or rewind’ button on your remote control. The default speed of the fast forward or rewind is equivalent to 2x the playback speed. You can increase this speed to 6x, 12x and 30x the playback speed by means of repeated short presses on the fast forward or rewind button.
3.3 TV guide Navigating in your TV programme The ‘TV Guide’ contains the programmes of the next 14 days for all channels offered by the box. For some of the channels, you will have the opportunity to replay up to 8 programmes already broadcast.
The listings Consult your TV programmes in the same format as in your favourite newspaper or magazine. Replay Watch the current programme and view the programming for the next 14 days according to channel Watch the current programme on another channel Navigate upwards to replay a previously broadcast programme, down to discover the programming for the next 14 days.
3.4 Replay There are 3 different ways to see a programme you missed: Timeshift Your box allows you to return to your viewing history. If you missed some of the programmes of the channels on which you were on, you have the opportunity to go back to watch them again.
Free on demand channels You can access the ‘on demand channel’ content of some channels - either via the programme guide (listings/grid), by navigating to the left (grid view) or up (listings view): On demand channels Current and future programmes Current and future On demand channels programmes - or via the ‘on demand channels’...
By selecting ‘set the recording’, you can set the start time and end time, and the frequency with which you want to record at this time on this channel. You can also programme the recording of future programmes via the programme guide or via the ‘mini-guide’.
Locking a recording You can lock a recording so it is not viewable by everyone. The parental code will be required to request recording. To lock a recording, press ‘ok’ to display the action menu and select ‘lock’. Proceed in the same way to unlock.
Cancelling a programmed recording To cancel a programmed recording, go to the ‘my programming’ menu of the ‘library’ menu. Select the programmed recording and press ‘ok’ on your remote control. Then select ‘cancel the recording’. If you have programmed the recording of a series, your box will prompt you to cancel the recording of the selected episode or cancel the recording of the entire series.
3.6 Library In your library, you will find your recordings, your programmed recordings, your purchases, your videos/photos and personal music, your devices connected to your box and all your adult content. Your recordings Here you can see all your recordings. You can see them sorted by genre, by channel or date.
3.7 VOD VOD is a video on demand service, i.e., a system that allows you to watch a wide selection of programmes (films, documentaries, etc.) at the time of your choice and with no wait, right on your box. A charge is usually made for this on demand service and it requires a purchase code.
VOO catalogue The VOO catalogue offers a wide choice of films and recent documentaries. The films are classified by genre. Simply navigate from one genre to another using the up and down arrows on your remote control. To see all the movies of a particular kind, you must select the icon ‘see +’...
To purchase a programme in the video on demand catalogues, you need a purchase code. This code is different from your parental code. The default purchase code is ‘0000’. To change your purchase code, go into the settings menu and select parental control. p.40 Enter the parental code and then change the purchase code.
Press ‘TV’ on your remote control to leave the world of applications and return to the television stream of the last channel you were on before entering the application portal. Access to applications content requires a subscription to the VOO internet service. 3.11 Search You can search through all the content available on your box.
Keyword search The keyword search is very simple, just type in your search criteria using the letters shown on the screen. To do this, navigate from left to right to the letter or character of your choice using the central navigation keypad of your remote control.
chapter 4 Settings The ‘settings’ menu allows you to customise various parameters relating to the use of your box. For example, you can set your preferences for the menu language, audio and subtitles. To access the ‘settings’ menu: Press the ‘home’ button on the remote control. Recordings The default settings linked to the recordings can be tailored to your needs. To access this menu, go to the ‘settings’ menu, select the ‘recordings’ option and validate by pressing ‘ok’ on your remote control. The ‘recordings’ menu appears on the screen.
Recommendation Depending on your viewing habits, your box suggests selected content for you. This data is handled confidentially. You can choose to disable customisation of these recommendations.
