    Changing the Mixer Attachment 1. Turn Off the appliance. 2. Open the safety guard by turning it to the left (GL190 & GL191) or lifting it above the mixer (GJ461). 3. Lower the bowl with the bowl handle. 4. Push the mixer attachment up and to the left to release it.
