Phone Book
Creating a New Entry
1. Enter a phone number and press OK .
2. Highlight the desired option you want to customize by
using the navigation key. The following options are
available:
• New Name: Enter the desired name. You can
enter up to 12 characters. For further information
on how to enter text, see page xx.
• Entry: The first available location displays. If
necessary, enter the location number using the
number keys.
• Secret: To set the number in secret, select On.
Setting Secret prevents a number from being
displayed when it is accessed by unauthorized user,
or dialed. When you have made the number secret,
only a person with your phone's lock code can view
the number.
• Category: Select the label for the number. The
available categories are Speed Dial, Home, Mobile,
Office, Pager, Fax, or No Label.
• Relation: Select the desired one of the four
predefined relation groups, where the entry is
included. Grouping the entries enables you to
locate only the numbers in the desired group.
• Ringtype: Select the unique ring type for the entry.
By selecting different tones, incoming voice calls
which have caller ID can be distinguished from
those that do not.

4. Press MENU to edit the setting for the selected
option.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to customize another option.
6. Press OK to save the entry.
After storing, the phone displays the phonebook entry
number you saved and the remaining entries you can
further store phone numbers, then automatically
returns to Standby mode.
Storing Phone Numbers at Call End
To store a phone number at your call end:
1. Press
to end the call. The call time and the
phone number display.
2. To store the phone number, press OK.
3. To complete storing the number, follow the
instructions in "Creating a New Entry."
