Assembly
1) Locate a flat, dry area with access to electrical outlet or extension cord.
IMPORTANT: Because of the size and weight of the Rockit, careful thought must
be given to the setup area. Ideally, the Rockit tube should be carried into position
while inside it's protective storage bag. The best setup position will also make
launching easy. Therefore, locate the Rockit near the water's edge. NOTE:
Dragging or sliding the Rockit over ground either before or after inflation can
cause damage.
2) Once in the setup/ launch position, unfold the Rockit completely and locate
the Main Valve. The Main Valve is located on the lower half of the product, near
Warning Labels and in white material. See diagram for details.
3) Using a high output pump, place the inflation hose with proper adaptor into
the Main Valve to inflate the Main section of the Rockit. Inflate to 0.75 psi (0,052
bar). Check for proper air pressure using a manometer. After inflation, replace
Main Valve cover. Inflation times can vary by inflator, but the main section should
be firm and tight when completely inflated. DO NOT OVER-FILL. Exces-
sively high pressure can cause damage to the product and may void the war-
ranty. Carefully monitor air pressure in the product especially during hot weather.
WARNING: Do not use an air compressor to inflate tube. Air compressors are
designed for high pressure inflation and can cause tube to burst if over-inflated.
WARNING: Do not use the Rockit without adequate air pressure - 0.75 p.s.i.
(0,052 bar) minimum.
4) Next locate the Perimeter Tube Valve found above the Main Valve, and on the
blue material of the perimeter tube. Follow the instructions and warnings found in
Step #3 to properly inflate the perimeter section. Inflate to 2.25 psi (0,155 bar).
Check for proper air pressure using a manometer.
5) Next inflate the 4 Saddle Chambers found just above the Perimeter Tube.
Follow the instructions and warnings found in Step #3 to properly inflate the
Saddle Chambers. Inflate to 1.9 psi (0,131 bar). Check for proper air pressure
using a manometer.
6) To launch the product, make sure to have at least 4 people evenly spaced
around the product to help carry it. NEVER DRAG THE ROCKIT! YOU MUST
LIFT AND SET TO AVOID ANY ACCIDENTAL TEARING AND/OR ABRASION.
Anchoring
IMPORTANT: Proper anchoring is essential to the safety and performance of
your product. Due to the wide variety of conditions, we advise using a profes-
sional skilled in mooring and anchoring, and experienced with local conditions. If
improperly anchored, the product can move and/or float away. Aquaglide, Inc. is
not responsible for any damage, injuries or losses due to improper anchoring.
NOTE: There are 3 heavy duty anchor rings and a short bridle underneath the
Rockit. These rings are centered on the bottom side of the Rockit Main tube.
Due to the high loads that may be generated, you must use All 3 of these rings
to spread the load and properly secure the product under normal conditions.
Here are some general guidelines for anchoring your product. These guidelines
are not intended to replace the need for professional installation.
1) Choose a location for your Rockit. Place the product in at least 8 ft. (2,44m)
Aquaglide, Inc. #1 North Shore Dr, SE White Salmon, WA 98672
of water depth and in an area protected from the wind and boat traffic. Review
your lake rules and restrictions with your local authorities.
2) Carefully check the water and seabed below the selected area for sharp or
dangerous objects (i.e. rocks or stumps).
3) Keep a safe distance from docks, boats, boat lifts, and any other structures.
DO NOT tie the product to a dock!
4) Anchors and anchor chain are sold separately. We recommend a MINIMUM
of 200 lbs. for short-term anchoring of the Rockit in settled conditions. Heavier
and/ or multiple moorings (350 - 500 lbs. or more) should be used on large,
windy bodies of water.
5) Attach anchor chain securely to the anchor. Use a buoy tied to the other end
of the chain to easily locate your anchor.
6) When the product is in place, remove the buoy and shackle the anchor chain
to the anchor rings underneath the product. BE SURE TO ALLOW enough
slack in the anchor chain to allow the product to move in wind or waves without
displacing your mooring.
7) If strong winds or storms are expected, it is best to remove the product from
the water and secure or store it.
Operation
1) This item is a circular teeter-totter for water use. Users team up on opposite
sides to balance and tip the item in various directions.
2) When connecting multiple items, use only Aquaglide Interloc™ straps and
connecting rings according to the Interloc™ Strap instructions provided. Make
sure that the connection is tight and that there is NO GAP greater than 25mm
(~3/4") between items. IMPORTANT: Failure to connect these items properly
may result in injury or death.
3) We strongly recommend maintaining supervision at all times during use by a
professionally certified lifeguard. NEVER use unattended.
4) Do not exceed the product's recommended number of users or capacity.
5) USE COMMON SENSE. Never jump or dive from the product. Do not
allow anyone to stand on the top of the product because motion could cause a
loss of balance and injury.
6) Do not swim in the area while the product is in use. Ensure that all swimmers
have cleared the area before entering the water and before continuing use of the
product. Never swim underneath the product.
7) The maximum weight capacity is 1000 lbs (454 Kg). It is acceptable to have
up to eight people on the product. IMPORTANT:
• Do not exceed product weight capacity of 1000lbs. (454 kg)
• Do not concentrate more than 300 lbs. (136 kg) in any one area.
• Do not use without adequate air pressure - 0.75 p.s.i. (0,052 bar)
minimum
8) If the product appears to have lost air pressure, immediately discontinue use.
Check and monitor for proper air pressure and air-holding ability. Do not continue
use until these are confirmed.
