Crush guard

As soon as an obstacle is recognised during opening or closing, the cabinet
flap will move about 50 mm in the opposite direction to unblock the drive.
Remove the object from closing area and press the remote control again.
If the cabinet does not open or close all the way after several attempts, a new
teach-in run can be forced.
For step-by-step instructions "Forcing a teach-in run", see illustrations on
page 79.

Operating the system

After a blackout the control unit no longer recognises the position of the
cabinet flap. However, the remote control is still stored in the control unit.
The mechanical stops of the control unit are re-determined by initiating a teach-
in run at reduced speed. After the recognition of the respective end position, the
cabinet flap will retreat by about 50 mm to guarantee the crush guard.
As soon as the control unit has recognised the end positions again, the
cabinet flap will open and close at normal speed and operate with the
customary soft-close function.
Due to the integrated free running function, the cabinet flap can also be
opened by hand without a great deal of force.
