S T E P O N E Wood Post Installation www.newenglandarbors.com www.newenglandarbors.co.uk Determine the location of the post and excavate a 36” (91 cm) Deep x 8” (20 cm) Diameter hole. Ø8 in (20 cm) Insert the wooden post and set the post in place using a bag of concrete. While the concrete is still wet, make sure the wooden post is plumb in both directions and support it in position until the concrete hardens.

With the post on its side, run a length of cable along the outer pocket of the extrusion as shown.

Please note that the pre-drilled hole end should be facing up. Apply a small bead of glue around the base of the post as shown (Approximately 4”...

S T E P F O U R Slide the post trim followed by the post top trim as shown. Let the two trims slide down for now as they will be glued in place in later steps. Attach the lamp post adapter onto the top of the post and fasten Apply a small amount of glue to the inside of the top trim where in place with 4 screws as shown.
