Installation Guide | 10GbE PCI NIC | v8.4.0 and higher
There are two potential types of 10GbE Fiber cards that will be used to upgrade the
Appliance interfaces:
● Intel X520 2P Adapter (full-height PCI-E)
● Intel X710 2P Adapter (half-height PCI-E)
The V20000 G1 and V10000 G4R2 will use the half-height X710 card for all
interfaces, while the V10000 G4R1 will use the full-height Intel X520 card to replace
the existing P1/P2 2-port copper card, and the half-height Intel X710 card for the E1
and E2 interfaces.
