    A good microwave cookbook is a valuable asset. Check it for microwave cooking principles, techniques, hints and recipes. NEVER use the oven without the turntable and support nor turn the turntable over so that a large dish could be placed in the oven.

    It is not necessary to buy all new cookware. Many pieces already in your kitchen can be used successfully in your new convection microwave oven. The chart below will help you decide what utensils and coverings should be used in each mode. Make sure the utensil does not touch the interior walls during cooking.

    Don’t assume that because a child has mastered one cooking skill he/she can cook everything. Children need to learn that the microwave oven is not a toy. • Rearrange foods such as meatballs halfway through cooking both from top to bottom and from the center of the dish to the outside.
