    All batteries should be removed from the product for long periods of storage. Fitting & Replacing Batteries 1. Your Talking Turtles use 3 x 1.5V AG13 or LR44 coin cells each. 2. Batteries must be inserted with the correct polarity as indicated in the battery compartment.

Counting using your Talking Turtles Your Talking Turtles have been printed with the numbers 1 – 10 on their back, with words one to ten on the underside of their tails and with the numerical dots for one to ten on the underside of their necks.
  • Page 5 Talking Turtles Practitioner’s Notes Introduction These ten little turtles are a really versatile resource. They can be used indoors and out. They are designed to be used in water but can also be an imaginative part of small world play. There is a recording element which lends itself to a host of learning opportunities.

    Use the turtles as part of a small world scenario. The turtles look great on a TTS Active World Tray (builder’s tray). The children could create their own desert island. Provide access to pieces of drift-wood, shells etc.
