Pump overheats

• No oil in pump
• Oil adjustment set too lean
• RPM too fast
• Prolonged operation at excessive vacuum or pressure levels,
• Pump is dirty
• Ballast filter is clogged or dirty.

Pump uses too much oil

• Oil pump set too rich
• Leaving pump under vacuum between jobs
• Product running through pump
