Part 2: Using the product – Use 1.2 Intended purpose The product is used exclusively for grilling solid food products, such as meat (boneless, without gristle), fish with firm flesh, vegetables or veggie burgers. The slice thickness of the food product to be grilled must be at least 9 mm and must not exceed 13 mm.

Requirements 2.1 Safety guidelines The unit was manufactured in compliance with all relevant safety regulations, particularly the rel- evant VDE and international CEE guidelines. The product was subjected to a comprehensive final inspection in the factory.

Part 2: Using the product – Initial commissioning 4. Initial commissioning 4.1 Setting up the product • Place the product on a firm table or similar stable substructure (product weight approx. 40 kg) at an ergonomic working height. The product is operated from the front.
Spare parts Replace components or consumables with original parts only. • If damage or a fault occurs during the warranty period, AICHINGER Professional Kitchens Cus- tomer Service must be notified immediately to avoid consequential damage. 4.2 Installation Connect the product to a 400 V / 3x16 A CEE three-phase power socket.
Part 2: Using the product – Initial commissioning 4.3 Precleaning The product has been precleaned after production in the factory. However, we do recommend cleaning the product to remove any residue left after production and any accumulated dirt. Use a damp, soft cotton cloth. 4.4 Burn-in The grill rollers must be burned in before they are used for the first time.

Teil 2: Operation – Operation 5.5 Inserting the food product to be grilled The grill rollers must be burned in before operation (see Chapter "Burn-in"). Danger! Burning hazard! • In the vicinity of the grill rollers, high temperatures can occur on the housing and the scraper sheets.
Teil 2: Operation – Operation 5.6 Switching off • Press the HEAT OFF key. Wait for the control LED to light up continuously. • Press the Power key. • Switch off at the main switch. Notice: Even after switching off, all surfaces can remain hot until they have finally cooled down completely.

Note on caring for stainless steel products Possible causes of corrosion on display cabinets made of stainless steel “Stainless steel” is the designation for specially corrosion-resistant and hygienic types of steel. These types of steel contain a chromium content of at least 10.5 % and in many cases further ingredients, such as nickel and molybdenum.

Appendix 1: Note on caring for stainless steel products Principles for working with stainless steel pro- ducts The surface of products made of stainless steel must always be kept clean and open to the air. – Stainless steel parts should never be treated with acidic, only with alkaline cleaning agents that contain a percentage of acid-free oil.
