Do you have a question about the e-motion and is the answer not in the manual?
Questions and answers
I broke my control when I dropped it and the battery doesn’t have contact, so it doesn’t work. I bought a new one and the directions said to hold the red button on the motor for 4-5 seconds to remove the motor from the old control. It is not cycling through two sets of jogs, so I know it is removed. It moves at the 1-2 seconds, but not at the 4-5 seconds
To troubleshoot the Elite Window Fashions e-motion control if it is not cycling through jogs after attempting to remove it from the motor:
1. Ensure you are pressing and holding the red button on the motor for 4-5 seconds, as required. The motor should cycle through two distinct sets of jogs.
2. Verify that the motor is powered and functional.
3. Make sure the motor is not grouped with other motors on the same channel. If it is, disconnect the power from other motors or temporarily remove them from the group channel.
4. Try the removal process again by pressing and holding the red button for the correct amount of time.
If the motor still does not jog, check for any power issues or faulty connections.
