System Setup Exploring AcuPanel 12 AcuPanel 12 panel PC is ideal for heavy-duty industry, high-performance embedded controllers, and I/O communication applications which have limited space. Before setting up the Panel PC, get familiar with the locations and purposes of controls, drives, connectors and ports, which are illustrated in the figures below.
Chapter 3 BIOS Setup This chapter describes how to use the BIOS setup program for the AcuPanel 12. The BIOS screens provided in this chapter are for reference only and may change if the BIOS is updated in the future.
AcuPanel 12 Entering Setup When the system is powered on, the BIOS will enter the Power-On Self-Test (POST) routines. These routines perform various diagnostic checks; if an error is encountered, the error will be reported in one of two different ways: .
AcuPanel 12 Submenu When " " appears on the left of a particular field, it indicates that a submenu which contains additional options are available for that field. To display the submenu, move the highlight to that field and press <ENTER>.

AcuPanel 12 IDE Configuration This section is used to configure the SATA as IDE or AHCI mode. AHCI (default Setting) - This option configures the Serial ATA drives as Parallel ATA physical storage device. It configures the Serial ATA drives to use AHCI (Advanced Host Controller Interface). AHCI allows the storage driver to enable the advanced Serial ATA features which will increase storage performance.
AcuPanel 12 Intel® IGD Configuration This section is used to configure the Intel® IGD Graphic configurations. IGFX – Boot Type This field is used to configure which video device will be activated during POST. This has no effect if external graphics present. The options are CRT, LVDS, LVDS + CRT and CRT + HDMI.
