In order for the MELAnet Box to be operated in your practice network, the first three digit blocks of the IP address of the MELAnet Box should conform to that of the IP address of the practice network. The last digit block is assigned to the device connected in the practice network.
  • Page 9 Use the covered network cable to prevent the emission values from being exceeded. We recommend the type SF/UTP network cable in accordance with ISO/IEC 11801 Cat.5e. Connect the serial cable to the middle socket of the MELAnet Box and plug it into the COM socket* on the computer.

After the initial installation the program switches automatically to the "Configuration" window.
