Operation

Connecting The Power Supply To AC and Powering On For Use
1. Check all output connections; confi rm the polarity, and verify there are no
exposed wires.
CAUTION: There is no reverse polarity protection on the power supply.
Connecting devices with the polarity backward may cause damage to
the device being powered and could cause damage to the power supply as
well. The power supply has an overload protection circuit. In the event the
connected devices demand more than 540 watts total power, the power
supply will automatically power down. In this event, cycle the power switch to
restore power. Reduce the load (reduce charging rates) or disconnect one or
more connected devices before resuming charge cycles.
2. With the power switch in the off position, connect the power supply to the AC outlet.
3. Switch on the power supply.
4. Rotate the voltage adjustment dial to adjust the voltage as necessary.
5. Switch the power supply off before connecting other devices to the unit or
disconnecting it from the AC power supply.
6. Remove the output connections after use.
WARNING: Do not short the output connections. The SPMXC10201 may be
damaged and could cause a fi re if the output connections are directly shorted.
WARNING: Never use a fuse larger than 10A. Using a fuse over 10A may
prevent the device from operating correctly in the event of a short, which
could result in a fi re. Always turn off the power supply or disconnect the device if
you suspect there is a short.
