My Tristar air fryer model LF-20, Date code 3320, PO NO: TRI.10061 suddenly stopped working. I had just used it and when going to cook 2nd batch the top panel would not light up. Only the circle on button lit. I unplugged it and let it sit overnight and it still doesn't work. When I plug it in the top panel lights up for a second then goes black.

Possible issues that could cause the Power AirFryer model LF-20 to stop working and the top panel to go black include:

1. The appliance is not plugged in — ensure the power cable is securely connected to the socket.
2. The appliance was accidentally turned off by pressing the on-off button during operation — press the on-off button again to restart.
3. The outer frying basket is not correctly inserted — ensure both baskets are properly engaged in the appliance.
4. The frying basket is overloaded — reduce the quantity of food.
5. The electrical circuit is overloaded — plug the appliance directly into a dedicated outlet without using extension cords.
6. The overheat protection system has activated due to internal temperature control failure — unplug the unit, let it cool completely, then restart.
