DE-FINALIZE INSTALLATION This operation is important to execute before de-installing a device from a vehicle. This will clear the horizontal plane alignment of the device and prevent the transmission of unnecessary alarms due to movement after de-installation.

FINALIZE INSTALLATION This is a CRITICAL step in the installation process! This starts the Horizontal Plane Alignment, or the “Finalization”, of the device. During the Finalization, the NX40 device calculates its own orientation of installation, with respect to the horizontal surface of the earth.
