3. Installation HDD
1. Pull the spring lock latch to open the tray and
slide in your hard drive.
2. Push the hard drive tray door in to secure the
hard drive.
3. Use the included keys to lock in the hard drives.
When system configures as RAID mode, it's
recommend to lock the tray door, to prevent
rebuilt due the HDD accidental remove
4. Connect USB or FireWire cable to the host
computer and the back of the UF8-R5J.
5. Plug AC cord and Turn on the power, The
default mode of our UF8-R5J is a JBOB Mode
6. Refer to following section to configure the
storage system as RAID5, 3, 10, CLONE,
SPAN... and other.
