The instruction manual for this device consists of general and specific instructions,
both must be carefully read and understood before use. Attention! This leaflet
shows the specific instruction only. SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS EN 566. These in-
structions contain the information necessary for the correct use of sewn tape slings
and the daisy chain for climbing and mountaineering. They are personal protection
equipment (PPE) intended to be included in a fall protection system as, for exam-
ple, connectors and ropes. The applicable legislation is EN 566 (Mountaineering
equipment. Slings): the applications compliant with this regulation are shown in the
diagrams with the legend "EN 566".

1) MARKING. The following information are printed on the label (Fig. 0): 1) Name
of the manufacturer or of the responsible for the immission in the market. 2) CE
marking. 3) 0333 - Number of the notified body responsible for the control of the
manufacturing. 4) UIAA logo. 5) Number of the relevant EN normative of reference.
6) Breaking load. 7) Pictogram preceding month (MM) and year (YYYY) of produc-
tion. 8) Place of manufacture.
2) SAFETY CHECK LIST. Check carefully before each use: webbings and stitchings
do not present cuts, abrasions, burns or corrosion. During each use: regularly check
the good working conditions of the device comprising the correct placing of the oth-
er components included in the system; pay attention to humidity and ice conditions
because they could jeopardize the resistance of the device; avoid contact with sharp
edges because they could cause the product to fail. Attention! The performances
of a device may decrease due to ageing or to a improper storage. Attention! If the
product is involved in a violent fall, retire it from use as soon as possible.
3) WARNING. The use of slings (Mod. 7W103; 7W107; 7W108; 7W096) and
daisy chains (Mod. 7W106; 7W146; 7W147) as connectors to other components,
which are compatible among themselves and suitable for mountaineering and
climbing, requires use of connectors which conform to regulation EN 12275. Atten-
tion! The anchor point must always be above the climber. The climber should nev-
er position themselves above the anchor point (Fig. 1). Attention! Always maintain
the sling in tension during use to avoid a loading, in the case of a fall, which could
cause failure of the sling. Attention! Use of incorrect knots on the sling could re-
duce its strength.
4) SLING. Slings may be placed around adequately shaped and sufficiently strong
anchors. Attention! The cross-section shape of the anchor and tying so that the

les informations nécessaires à l'utilisation correcte des anneaux de sangle et des
daisy chain au cours des activités telles que l'alpinisme et l'escalade. Ce sont des
dispositifs de protection individuelle (EPI) destinés à être intégrés à des systèmes
de protection individuelle contre les chutes, comme par exemple les connecteurs
