3.1 Connecting the Set-Top Box

Inspect the carton upon receiving and note any damage to the carton for possible unit damage.
Carton Includes:
(A) DCT411 Quick Start Guide
(B) DCT411 Unit
(C) Power Adapter
(D) HDMI Cable

- Remove power from the TV
- Connect the "Cable TV" cable to the "Cable In" connector on the set-top box (Figure 3.1)
- Connect the HDMI (D) or Video/Audio (E) cables to the set-top box and TV (Figure 3.2)
- Plug the TV into the power
- Plug the Power Adapter (C) into the set-top box and connect to the AC power outlet (Figure 3.3)

- Change the source/input on the TV to either
HDMI or AV depending on how you connected
the TV to the set-top box
- The first time the set-top box is powered on it
will scan for the TV channels and show the
lowing screen (LEFT)
- Once the scan is completed, a display of de-
tected TV and Radio channels will appear. To
finish, press "OK" (RIGHT)
-After you have selected OK, you will be able to
view all detected channels on your TV
