    THE SHIFT BUTTON Let’s spend a few minutes getting acquainted with the most funda- mental features of the Nord Electro 6. In this chapter some of the most common tasks and scenarios will be described in a stepwise fashion. Many panel controls on the Nord Electro 6 have a second- ary function, which is printed immediately below it.

    Press the Live Mode button again to exit Live Mode and return to the Program banks. When the Nord Electro 6 is shipped from factory its memory is protected to prevent accidental overwriting of original programs.
