Application/Adjustment

1. Position the patient's arm in
the envelope (immobilizer).
Make sure that the patient's
elbow is bent at a 90° angle.

2. Pull the shoulder strap through the
two top rings of the Shoulder Immo-
bilizer. Adjust the shoulder strap to
the right length for the patient, and
secure it using the hook-and-loop
fastener. Then close the waist band
(bottom rings) in order to attach the
immobilizer to the patient's torso,
with the patient's elbow bent at a 90°
angle. If the waist strap is not needed,
it can simply be removed. Please note:
The immobilizer comes with two
straps of different lengths. The
shorter one is the shoulder strap,
and the longer one is the waist strap.
The orthosis may be worn both directly
on the skin and over thin clothing.
