PROBLEM
No Power.
Unit overheating.
The unit is not effective.
Excessive/loud noise.
The remote control does
not work.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
•
Unit is not plugged into wall
socket.
•
Air ventilation around unit not
sufficient.
•
Air inlet or air outlet is being
obstructed or blocked by
foreign objects.
•
Internal malfunction.
•
Filters may be heavily soiled
and due for replacement.
•
Unit is on an uneven surface.
•
Foreign objects have fallen into
the unit.
•
Faulty internals.
•
Battery could be dead, depleted
or not correctly installed.
•
Remote is not pointed directly
at the unit.
•
Remote control distance is out
of range.
EASY SOLUTION
•
Check connection to wall socket.
•
There must be at least 30cm
between unit and wall or other
appliances.
•
Ensure there are no object
obstructing the air inlet or air outlet.
•
Return unit to service agent,
call Customer Service.
•
Replace filter.
•
Ensure the unit is placed
on a level surface.
•
Ensure that no foreign objects have
fallen into the unit via the air outlet.
•
Call Customer Service.
•
Replace battery. Ensure the battery
is correctly installed.
•
Aim the remote at the remote
control signal receiver located
on the control display.
•
Remote effective distance
approx. 5m.
