Thank you for your purchase of the Karrsen Dome Oven with "Captive Heat Technology"!
Remove any packing material, promotional stickers and tape from the Dome Oven prior to use. Wipe the dome
oven interior with a clean, damp sponge and wash bottom pan and all accessories in warm soapy water. Allow all
surfaces to dry thoroughly prior to use.

Preparing your dome oven with "captive heat technology" (first use)
It's necessary to run your Dome Oven without food(s) for it's first use for 12-15 minutes to ensure manufacturing
substances are eliminated. Ensure the area is well ventilated as the Dome Oven may emit mild vapors which are
safe and do not affect the performance of the Dome Oven.
1. Place Dome Oven on a flat and dry surface. Ensure the unit is clear of any packing materials and has 4 to 6
inches of clearance on all sides. Never allow anything to rest against the Dome Oven surfaces.
2. Insert the power plug into a 120V wall outlet.
3. Turn the dial indicator to 450 degrees. The power indicator will illuminate. Please note that the power
indicator will illuminate during heating and turn off once unit has reached desired, set temperature.
4. Allow the Dome Oven to heat for 12-15 minutes.
5. The Dome Oven is now ready for use!

The Karrsen Dome Oven with "Captive Heat Technology" features a patented heating technology that allows you
to bake, roast and cook some foods much faster than conventional toaster, roaster and household ovens.
***We have provided some suggested temperature settings and cooking times. However, due to the
speed of which the Dome Oven cooks some foods compared to conventional toaster ovens, roaster ovens
and household ovens , we encourage experimenting with these depending on recipes, amounts of food
and your personal tastes and preferences.
