AFETY INFORMATION
Warning
Ensure the power supply is switched off during installation.
When installing the camera, fasten it securely to the surface. A falling
camera may cause personal injury.
Caution
Only install in suitable environments. For more information, see the Atex
Technical Manuals.
Handle the camera with care so the main electronics and components
are not damaged.
For security reasons, you must change the camera's default username
and password.
Ensure each camera has a unique IP address.
Notices
Use only hex socket head fasteners with property class of A4-70
for securing end covers and shafts to housing.
Read this guide before installing the camera.

No modifications must be made to the flamepaths of the unit
without consultation of the drawings listed.
•
Temperatures could exceed 70
at the branching point, suitably rate cable must be selected.

No electromagnetic or ultrasonic radiating equipment to be
fitted into the enclosures. However, a fibre optic transmitter
may be fitted, the output from which must always be routed
out of the enclosure via armoured cable or conduit and must
be terminated within a suitably certified enclosure or in a safe
area.

A routine overpressure test in accordance with IEC 60079-
1:2007 Clause 16.1 shall be carried out on all enclosures,
Including all cemented window assemblies, at a pressure of
27.3 Bar for a period of between 10 and 60 seconds and must
be recorded. There shall be no deformation or damage to the
enclosures and no leakage through the cement of any of the
window assemblies.
