The 575 System uses H11 bulbs on both high and low beams. Included is an adapter that will convert
your OEM H4 plug to an H11 socket. If you have purchased an HID package, you will receive bulbs and
ballasts that use slightly different wiring.
This is a TEMPORARY install guide until our new HID relay harness' arrive. You will recieve instructions on
the new harness when you receive them (ETA June/July). The new harnesses will allow you to keep the
low beams on while on high beam for added performance.
1
Remove your current headlamps. Be careful not to tamper
with your headlight adjustment screw (if applicable) otherwise re-
aligning your headlamps will be a much longer process.
2
Set your old headlamps aside, and grab your new set
of Dapper Lighting 575 series headlamps. Replace your old
headlamps with your Dapper Lighting 575's using the same
mounting locations as before. All of our tabs match up to your
OEM bucket and should require no modification. Your OEM
headlight retaining rings will also fit directly over your new Dapper
Lighting headlamps. (Note: Be cautious that you are installing the
new headlamps in their proper positions. Make sure none of the
headlamps are upside down, and make sure your low beams and
high beams are in their respective locations as well.)
3
Make sure your Dapper Lighting 575 headlamps fit without
issue (i.e. not rubbing against your radiator support, causing
clearance issues, or preventing a flush mount). Once you've got
the lamps in, it's time to install the bulbs, pop together a couple
connections, and find ballast mounting locations before you're
ready to turn everything on.
4
Locate your included HID bulbs. Secure them into your Dapper
Lighting 575 headlamps by lining up the locking tabs and then
spinning clockwise to lock the bulb in place. The bulb should sit
completely flush against the base of the headlamp or it may be out
of focus.
5
Now, locate your HID ballasts. There are two wires coming out
from the ballast, as well as two wires coming from the back of your
HID bulbs. Clip the two from the ballast into the two from your HID
bulbs together (there is only one way they will snap together, so
don't worry about polarity here).
