UHF RFID Protocol for Communications at 860 MHz - 960 MHz, Ver- sion 2.0.1 (April 23, 2015). General Information Datalogic RFID DLR-TL001 is a low cost, semi-passive UHF Logger TAG that allows to monitor temperature sensitive products during transportation or storage. DLR-TL001 is compliant to the EPC Class1 Gen2/ISO18000-6C standards, it can be used with the Gen2 UHF RFID readers on the market without requiring any additional equipment.

Manual interface behavior The DLR-TL001 tag has a simple manual interface that includes a button, and a bicolor red/green LED that, depending on the configuration, allows to check the status of the alarms and to start/stop the logging activity. By default, the button can be used only to check the status of the tag but not to start/stop the logging activity.

Register Description In order to activate the tag and put it in Idle state the initial date configura- tion register (INIT_DATE) shall be written with a non-zero value and the tag shall be reset using the dedicated bit in the INIT_DATE Register at page 15. In this state the internal clock is active and the tag is waiting for a start log- ging command (LE in the STATUS register).
For installation, use and maintenance, do not open the Logger Tag DLR- TL001. The DLR-TL001 is not user-serviceable. Opening the case of the unit can cause internal damage and will void the warranty. Customer shall be responsible for packaging and shipping the product to the designated Datalogic service center, with shipping charges prepaid. Da-talogic shall assume risk of loss or damage for product in Datalogic's possession. In the absence of specific written instructions for the return of product to Customer, Datalogic will select the carrier, but Datalogic shall not thereby assume any liability in connection with the return shipment.
