10. Troubleshooting

Problem
The shaving
performance
declines.

Cause
The shaving heads are dirty.
You have not cleaned the
shaver thoroughly enough or
it has been too long since the
last cleaning.
Long hairs obstruct the shav-
ing heads.
The shaving heads are dam-
aged or worn.
Solution
Clean the shaver thoroughly
before you continue shaving
(see "8.1. Weekly cleaning" on
page 131).
Clean the shaving blades and
shaving guards using the sup-
plied cleaning brush (see "8.2.
Bi-monthly cleaning" on page
131).
Replace the shaving heads
every two years (see "9. Re-
placing the shaving heads" on
page 133).
