Getting to know your recorder

Getting Started

Installing microSD card

The microSD card is installed in front of the unit,
the correct orientation of the card is shown on
the side of the unit.

Charging your battery recorder

Before using the SPYDV90 we recommend
making sure the device is fully charged. To charge
first make sure the device is switch OFF, and then
connect to a PC USB port, or a 5V USB charger. The
red light will come on to indicate it is connected to
a charger. The recorder will take about 3 hours to
fully charge from a flat battery. The red light will
go out when fully charged.

Connecting to your PC

Before connecting to your PC, ensure the
microSD card has been installed, and that the unit
is switched on. If the battery is completely flat, it
may need to be left connected to charge for a
while before it is detect by your computer.

Playback on your computer

For playing back the files on your computer, we
recommend using VLC Media Player. The latest
version can be downloaded for free from http://
www.videolan.org
