USING THE STEAMER
-
Plug the steamer power cord into an electrical outlet.
-
Press the ON switch - the heat indicator light will illuminate when turned on.
-
The steamer will emit steam after approximately 50 seconds.
-
Direct the steam nozzle towards the fabric. Always hold upright to avoid spillage
-
Once the water has run out, turn off the steamer. Never fill up with cold water
when the steamer is still warm.
TIPS FOR STEAMING FABRICS AND LINENS
-
Direct the steam nozzle towards the material you wish to steam.
-
Keep the flow of steam focused on the material. Using a slight back and forth
motion will further enhance the steaming process.
TIPS FOR STEAMING GARMENTS
-
Place the garment on a clean hanger.
-
Begin steaming slowly from the bottom to the top of the garment. The steam will
rise along the inside and outside of the fabric, removing the wrinkles.
-
Periodically point the steamer away from the garment and smooth the fabric with
your free hand.
-
Repeat the above steps as necessary until the garment is free of wrinkles.

GENERAL TIPS

-
Steaming both sides of the fabric will help to remove stubborn wrinkles.
-
Delicate fabrics need to be steamed carefully to avoid damage caused by water
spotting.
-
Drapery and curtains can be steamed while still hanging.
-
To steam towels, handkerchiefs and napkins, hang them over a rod or towel holder.

HANDLING AND STORAGE

-
Tap water can be used although distilled water will prevent buildup of minerals
and lime scale.
-
Always empty any remaining water after use to minimise mineral buildup.
-
Store the steamer in a cool, dry place.
