IV. ASSEMBLE ENGINE STARTER KNOB
lPress down engine brake handle by left hand, and
l
meanwhile pull the knob of starter rope back to the
hook ring on upper handle, assemble. The rope into
the hook ring through the opening of hook ring .
lAlways keep starter rope in hook rin g during all
mowing work.

WARNING: The safety position of start-
ing engine is at the back of upper handle.
Users must keep the rope always in the
middle of the hook ring during starting engine
and mowing work. It is danger to starting engine
away from the safety position, which will lead to
the risk of feet hurting.
CAUTION: Wear protective gloves
during operation of setting up your
mower.

DRIVE CONTROL BAR-used to engage power-pro-
pelled forward motion lawn mower.
THROTTLE CONTROL-used for starting the engine
and allows you to select either fast or slow engine
speed.
DRIVE SPEED LEVER -used for adjusting the drive speed
and allows you to select either fast of slow speed.
STARTER HANDLE-used for starting the engine.
PRIMER-pumps additional fuel from the carburetor
to the cylinder for use when starting a cold engine.
OPERATOR PRESENCE CONTROL BAR-engine
brake,it must be held down to the handle to start the
engine. Release it to stop the engine.
WARNING: The operation of any lawn
mower can result in foreign objects thrown
into the eyes, which can result in severe
eye damage. Always wear safety glasses
or eye shields while operating your lawn
mower or performing any adjustments or
repairs. We recommend wide vision safety
mask over spectacles or standard safety
glasses.

Your lawn mower is equipped with an operator
presence control bar which requires the operator to
be positioned behind the lawn mower handle to start
and operate the lawn mower.
TO OPERATE DRIVE SYSTEM
To start forward motion, lift drive control bar up to
handle.
To stop forward motion, release drive control bar.
IMPORTANT: ALWAYS KEEP DRIVE CONTROL
FULLY ENGAGED AGAINST HANDLE WHEN IN USE.
