CS1200 Multi-Position AC Shutoff Switch
Thank you for purchasing the DiversiTech CS1200. The CS1200 is designed to automatically shut down air conditioners, heating
systems and other condensate producing appliances that are located in a condensate drainpan. The CS1200 is activated
when water accumulates in the drain pan and is in danger of overflowing. When water rises the CS1200 float activates a
snap-action switch which shuts down the HVAC system to protect equipment and the surrounding area.

acondicionados, los sistemas de calefacción y otros productos que produzcan condensación en la bandeja de drenaje. El
CS1200 se activa cuando el agua se acumula en la bandeja de drenaje y existe el riesgo de que se desborde. Cuando el
agua sube el flotador del CS1200 se activa el interruptor de acción rápida que apaga el sistema HVCA, para proteger tanto
el equipo como el área alrededor.
Installation Instructions
1. Loosen the thumb screw 2. Adjust the CS1200 so that it sits vertically in the pan.
Twist the housing for the best fit.

Connecting to System

Conexión al sistema
• SHUT OFF POWER TO THE SYSTEM
• Break the 24V transformer common or the thermostat Red wire and
connect the CS1200 as shown below.
• Re apply power to the system and start the unit.
• Test that the CS1200 functions to shut down the
system by pressing the Push-to-Test lever.
• APAGUE LA CORRIENTE DEL SISTEMA
• Corte el transformador común de 24 voltios o el cable rojo del
termostato y conecte el CS1200 como se muestra abajo.
• Vuelva a conectar la corriente del sistema y encienda la unidad.
• Pruebe que el CS1200 apague apropiadamente el sistema,
presionando la palanca de prueba.

3. Tighten the thumbscrew to hold the switch in place
and route the wires neatly to the air-handler or furnace.
