- Page 6 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS Remove the Lock nut from the pushrod to release the spring tension. Remove the shoulder bolt then rotate the pivot arm up so the lockup pin can be inserted. Next, install the 5000-409 Connector pin and (2) extender plates on the pushrod and secure the extender plates to the pivot arm with the shoulder bolt and lock nut.
