Using the Tester

Standard 3 wire outlet


Always test on a known good outlet before use.

Plug the tester into the outlet, check the indicator
lights and refer to the following table for the
current state of the outlet.

If incorrect wiring is indicated, do not use outlet.
Consult electrician.
