Setting the On/Off Timer

Press the MENU button.
Press the ... or † button to
select "Setup", then press the
ENTER button.

Press the ... or † button to
select "Time", then press the
ENTER button.

Press the ... or † button to
select "On Timer".
Press the œ or √ button to
move the hour or minute.
Set the clock you want by
pressing the ... or † button.

Press the œ or √ button to
select "On" or "Off".
Press the ▲ or ▼ button to turn
the on-timer "On". (To
deactivate the "On Timer",
select "Off".)
When finished, press the √ √
button.

To set the Off Timer, press the
▲ or ▼ button to select "Off
Timer".
Follow the same procedure as in
steps 3~4 above.
Press the EXIT button to exit.

œ Before using the timer, you must
set the TV' s clock. (See "Setting
the Clock" on page 31).
œ The current time will appear every
time you press the INFO button.
œ Auto Power Off
When you set the timer "On",
the television will eventually
turn off, if no controls are
operated for 3 hours after the TV
was turned on by timer. This
function is only available in
timer "On" mode and prevents
overheating or leakages, which
may occur if a TV is on for too
long (on holiday, for example).
