- Page 2 Be careful of sharp edges in the lamp compartment. Wash hands after lamp replacement. y Only ViewSonic certified lamps are tested with this projector. Use of other lamps may cause electrical shock and fire.
- Page 3 3. Loosen the screw from the lamp module 4. Lift the module handle up. 5. Use the handle to slowly pull the lamp out of the projector. CAUTION y Pullingittooquicklymaycausethelamptobreakandscatterbrokenglassintheprojector. y Donotplacethelampinlocationswherewatermightsplashonit,childrencanreachit,ornear flammablematerials. y Donotinsertyourhandsintotheprojectorafterthelampisremoved.Ifyoutouchtheopticalcompo- nentsinside,itcouldcausecolorunevennessanddistortionoftheprojectedimages. 6. As show in the figure, insert the new lamp. Align the lamp connector and 2 sharp points with the projector and gently push the lamp into the locked position.

Replacing the lamp Afterpoweringontheprojector,opentheOSDmenu.Goto INFROMATION,Press”UP””DOWN””UP””DOWN”UP””DOWN””ENTER”buttonsbyremote controlorprojectorkeypadtoentertheservicemode. Select “Lamp Hours Reset” item then press “ Enter” key to reset the lamp hour to “0” CAUTION y Donotresetifthelampisnotneworreplacedasthiscouldcausedamage.
