CONNECTING FURNACE TO FUEL LINE
a Connect inlet t",,1 line to lurnaee control valve (GAS)
or 1"", pump (OIL), Approved Pipe JOint compound
(type ,nsoluble to L.P. gas) may be applied on male
threads only.
D. Open 1",,1 line valves and soap test for leak.
DO NOT USE OPEN FLAME TEST FOR LEAKS.
PRIMING FUEL PUMP (OIL FURNACE MODELS)

Connect a 3/16" 15mm) LD. hose to air-bleed valve
(see Figure 29) and place other end of hose ,nto a
su,table container.
