Next you need to find a secure mounting location for the DSP-Z8 IV. You need to avoid sources of heat and moisture, and provide adequate ventilation for cooling. Check around and under the location for any wires, hoses, etc.
  • Page 4 Connecting the DSP-Z8 IV - Connecting the DSP-Z8 IV is quite straight forward. There are 6 RCA Inputs. Ch. I and 2 are seen as (FL) front left and (FR) front right, Ch. 3 and 4 are the rear inputs, and Ch. 5 and 6 are Sub1 and Sub2.
  • Page 5 Important note: To avoid noise caused by equipment turn-on it is important that you use only the blue wire from the DSP-Z8 IV to turn on your amplifiers. If you are using multiple amplifiers it is best to use a relay between the blue DSP +12v wire and the amplifiers.
