Slide Open Shortcut

This feature enables you to set the phone so that when you slide the phone open you can either create a message,
or use IM.
From Idle mode, press Menu

Highlight your selection: No shortcut, Create message, or IM and press Select or

automatically saves.

Menu Design

The first time you turn on the phone your main menu displays as a Circle menu. Use this option to configure the
display as either Circle or Grid menu format.
From Idle mode, press Menu

Highlight Circle menu or Grid menu and press Select or
2.
Your Main menu display in either Circle or Grid menu layout.

Language

This menu allows you to select a display language for Text language and Input mode. Choose from Automatic,
English, Français, and Español.
From Idle mode, press Menu

Select Automatic, English, Français, or Español and press Save.

Greeting Message

This menu allows you to set a greeting to display briefly when the phone is switched on.
For details about entering characters, see "Entering Text" on page 43.
From Idle mode, press Menu

Press to clear the text and enter the message you want to display in the greeting.

Press Options and select one of the following:

• Save: allows you to save the currently entered greeting message.
• Select language: allows you to select Français or Español as the language with which to display your message.
