Entering Text

Changing the Case
To change the case of the letters, use the
key. There are three cases; Capital Lock(

You can move the cursor through the text by
using the Left and Right keys.
Clearing Letters and Words
To delete letters, press the C key. Press and hold
the C key to clear the display.

Using Malay Mode

This mode allows you enter Malaysian words by
pressing only one kkey per ech letter. You can
enter letters the same way as in Quick English
mode. For further details, see page 56.

Using Number Mode

Number mode enables you to enter numbers in
your text, such as a telephone number. Press the
keys corresponding to the digits you want before
manually switching back to the appropriate text
input mode.

Using Symbolic Mode

Symbolic mode enables you to insert symbols in
your text.
To
select a symbol
display more symbols
clear the symbol(s)
insert the symbol(s)
into your text
cancel your input
and return to
the previous mode
Entering Text
Press the
corresponding number
key.
Up or Down key.
C key. When the input
field is empty, this key
returns the screen to
the previous mode.
OK soft key.
Back soft key.
