Text Message
This menu allows you to select how the phone informs
you that a new text message has been received.
1. In Idle mode, press the Menu (left) soft key (
press
Tone),
appear in the display:
Tone — Lets you set one of five message tones.
Alert Type — Lets you set the alert to Silent, Tone,
Vibration, and Vibration Then Tone.
Repetition — Lets you set the text message alert to repeat
Once (when a message is received) or Periodic (every two
minutes after a message is received until you open the
message).
2. Use the navigation keys to highlight an option, then press
the Select (left) soft key (
