    Your Phone Description (continued) Makes or answers a call. When held down in idle mode, recalls the last number dialed or received. In menu mode, selects a menu function or stores information that you have entered (such as a name) in the phone or SIM memory.

    Text Messages Short Message Service (SMS) allows you to send and receive short text messages to and from other GSM mobile phones. In addition, your phone supports the Enhanced Messaging Service (EMS), which enables you to make messages including simple pictures, melodies, and animations. You must subscribe this service to your service provider.

    Text Messages Outbox (Menu 1.2) This message box is used to store the messages that you have already sent or will send. When you enter this menu, the list of messages in the box displays with the recipients’ phone numbers or names, if available in your Phonebook.
