Using the options in Capture mode
When you press the Option soft key in Capture
mode, the following options are available for the
current shot:
Video Mode
Selecting this option switches the phone to Record
mode. See page 124.
Flash
The following options are available:
Off: allows you to turn off the flash.
This Shot only: allows you to turn on the flash for
the current shot. After you take a photo, the flash
turns off.
Always On: allows you to use the flash when you
take a photo.
Self timer
You can set the camera to take a photo at a
predefined time. You can view the timer icon on the
bottom line of the display. When you press the
key or the Capture soft key, the timer starts
counting down.
Multi shot
This option allows you to take successive action
stills up to seven shots. Select the interval between
shots, Off, Short, Normal, or Long. After taking
photos, the phone automatically saves them.
Brightness
You can adjust the brightness of the image. When
Auto is selected, the phone automatically
determines the setting.

Fun frames
This option allows you to use a decorated frame
with the photo. Press the Navigation keys to find
the frame format you want to use.
ColorTones
This option allows you to change the color tone or
apply special effects to the photo.
Resolution
This option allows you to select an image
resolution.
Note: The High and Medium options are available
only in Single Shot mode.
Taking a photo with the phone closed
1. When the phone is closed, press and hold the
key on the right side of the phone.
The image to be captured displays on the
external display.
2. Adjust the image by aiming the camera module.
To use the options, press the
option icon is selected. You can change the
settings by pressing the key. The following
options are available:
• : allows you to flip the image vertically.
• : allows you to adjust the brightness of the
image.
• :allows you to select the image quality.
• : allows you to enlarge the image.
