Changing the batteries

Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the Chatter-Block.
The supply terminals are not to be short-circuit.

Troubleshooting

Chatter-Block is designed to work reliably and predictably in all normal
conditions. However, it is possible that problems may occur. Please check
the following before contacting technical support:

The Chatter Block takes 3 x AA Batteries. The
battery compartment is located on the face with the
power and record buttons. Using a small coin, open
the battery hatch. Carefully remove the plastic cover
to access the battery compartment.
Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be
recharged. Different types of batteries, or new and
used batteries are not to be mixed.
