Route cables avoiding areas that may pinch or damage the wires. On the Transmitter module, connect the red wire to a switched +12V power source and the black wire to ground (a non-painted bare metal surface) to each other for optimal performance. Once the Receiver and Transmitter are connected (linked) to each other the pairing process does not have to be repeated after the main power is disconnected. The established link will be stored by the memory function of the Transmitter module in order to ensure quick startup after disconnecting and re-connecting the main power.
